SKS Group is supporting Ukrainian refugees
Donation of 4,000 power banks and 30,000 surgical masks
In order to provide targeted support for the Ukrainian refugees, the SKS Group is donating 4,000 power banks for charging smartphones. “We’ve been thinking about how we can help people,” says Sarah Baukmann from Marketing. “The mobile phone is the most important connection among each other. The power bank can be used to charge mobile devices wirelessly.” The batteries are part of the mobile phone holder system from the SKS range, but they can also be used without a holder.
SKS participated in an additional relief campaign for war refugees who remain on the Polish-Ukrainian border by donating 30,000 surgical masks. The masks are urgently needed, especially for onward travel with public transport. The aid from SKS has become a reality for one family with whom we have a personal relationship. Three women and three children have been picked up from Ukraine and are now living in a company apartment in Sundern.
“We are aware that all the help that we can provide is just a drop in the ocean,” explains Commercial Manager Josef Levermann. “Nevertheless, given the disbelief and helplessness with which we are monitoring what is happening in Ukraine, we want to make at least a small humanitarian contribution.”
