Design & Innovation Award for the Rennkompressor NXT 

SKS floor pumps honoured as outstanding product 

With its authentic design and many user-friendly features, the Rennkompressor NXT is one of the winners of this year’s Design & Innovation Award. The award is recognised as an international seal of quality for outstanding products in the cycling industry. For two weeks, the Rennkompressor NXT was tested under real-life conditions by a team of 30 independent experts.

So the advanced version of the legendary floor pump, which is available with an analogue or digital pressure gauge, impressed the expert jury across the board. “The SKS Rennkompressor NXT / NXT DIGI shows how even classics and absolute cult objects in the industry can be further developed – without undermining the foundations of their success,” reads the test report. “The SKS air pump is still an absolutely sustainable product. On the one hand, components from the region and from own production are used, and on the other hand, SKS GERMANY guarantees the replacement of almost all spare parts”. 

Also SKS Product Manager Christopher Hetzel is delighted with the prestigious award. “This award recognises the successful combination of tradition and modernity that makes the Rennkompressor NXT a powerful tool for every cyclist”.

Design & Innovation Award

The Design & Innovation Award was launched in 2013. It is one of the leading awards in the bicycle industry. Its standards go far beyond those of existing awards. The products submitted are thoroughly tested, discussed and evaluated by an experienced team from the magazines Enduro, E-Mountainbike and Gran Fondo.
